What is cognitive behavioral therapy?

The goal of therapy is to identify inaccurate and negative thoughts and self-defeating behaviors, to develop specific skills to combat these thoughts and behaviors, and by doing so, to improve mood, anxiety, or other difficulties.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a form of talk therapy that allows a person to look at some of the connections between past experiences and current situation. It is based on the idea that unconscious factors effects behavior. It is a gradual process that helps in the development of self-awareness and insight.
